2022 Annual Coat Drive
Literacy is the cornerstone of what we do at Beyond Basics. This work comes from our deep commitment to youth and their communities.
There is a strong connection between a child's health and wellness and their academic performance. In that spirit, we demonstrate our care for the whole child by distributing warm winter coats to the children and families we serve.
We are collecting new or gently used coats, sizes Child XS - Adult 5XL, now through November 30th. If you'd like to be a part of our effort this year, there are three ways you can support:
1. Drop off coats in the lobby of our office building at 18000 W Nine Mile
2. Donate through Network for Good and we will use the funds to buy and distribute new winter jackets
3. Shop on our Amazon wish list and the coats will be shipped directly to our collection center
