A press conference was held on Thursday, October 27th, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. to announce the partnership between The Taylor Reading Corps (TRC) and Beyond Basics.

A Night with Chef Brian Polcyn was proudly presented by Jack and Annette Aronson. The event was benefitting Beyond Basics for their scholars and reading enrichment programs.
Coming Together For Children 2016 was a wonderful evening filled with a silent auction, sit down sinner, live auction, and live music throughout the evening. The proceeds from all auctions items were benefiting Beyond Basics literacy enrichment programs. The event was at the Detroit Golf Club with the presenting partner Baker Tilly.
